I’m thinking the word forgive “FOR-GIVE”, at its heart is meant to guide us to have foresight. To look ahead, to plan ahead; to cultivate the love we will need in the future, knowing that we walk in a world of imperfection. In that, all of our brothers and sisters, children and parents, neighbors and strangers are fallible. And the second part of the word ”GIVE” perhaps enlightens us on the value of being ready to “GIVE” that love we have cultivated to everyone at anytime.
I’m going to go sit and think of a person I may not have forgiven and write 5 good things about them.
Done, not easy, surprised to find resentments so easily – I feel great having done this, 6.9 billion practices and I’m good:)
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
