On the day this piece was created, which was the very first for this series; I was having a conversation with a local artist friend in my Flagstaff, Arizona, gallery where the walls were filled with “The People Collection” series. We were really connecting on the certainty that our path as artists was to serve. And just after he left the gallery I put my focus on thinking about creating something new; within moments the words “When you see only the dark know the Light will return” came to me.
